California Vacation July 25-31 2010

Our first Family vacation! We were so excited the night before we were supposed to leave (the 24th) we were packing and getting ready, we decided that because we probably wouldn't even be able to sleep we should just leave, so we did!! We left at about 2:00 a.m. It was nice so that the drive wasn't quite as hard on the kids but around 8:00 a.m. Joe and I were DYING!!! Thank goodness for energy drinks! We got into Anaheim, Ca around 4:00 p.m. We ate dinner and went straight to bed! The next day (26th) we went to Disneyland. As we were pulling into the parking lot of Disneyland Hina started screaming with excitement! Everyone on the shuttle got a kick out of it! We had SO much fun, but we were SO tired. We left at about 7:30 p.m. We decided since we mostly just went in California Adventures, we had better go another day so the kids could go see the rest of Disneyland. On our second day our friends, the Niu family, joined us for a few rides. It was fun! That night we stayed til about 10:00 p.m. WE WERE EXHAUSTED! The next day after sleeping in a little, we went to Seaworld. It's nice there cause it is way less crowded! Thanks GOODNESS!! The shows were so fun to watch, I think it was mine and Joe's favorite day. On Thursday we went to Newport Beach, it felt SO GOOD to just relax and soak up the sun!! It was fun for the kids to play in the sand and hang out with their friends/cousins; Jett and Bryton. Friday (the day that we were driving back) we tried to get together with my aunt and uncle but with the kids being crazy and traffic, we decided to just take off.. so we missed them, unfortunatly. :( When we made it to Vegas we got to meet my Aunt and Uncle Steph and Norm and Joe's cousin for dinner, It was delicious and we had good company! That night Hina started getting sick and throwing up, it was the saddest thing ever! So we just left early the next morning to get Hina home. We had so much fun, and it was wonderful having Joe with us all the time!! The kids had a hard time with him going back to work, but I think Joe was VERY ready to go back! lol...
